Tax Department campaign visits to business premise

The Tax Department informs that, in the context of the implementation of the strategic objective of increasing voluntary tax compliance, the Department's officers will, on a nationwide basis, from the beginning of August 2017, visit business premises.

The purpose of the visits has the following objectives:

• Informing taxpayers in relation to tax liabilities that are likely to be outstanding • Confirming the correct application of the legislation • Provision of information • Renewal and widening of the tax base
